CPPM serial cable

I’ve got a CPPM sitting here i’d like to work on today. I do not have the NTAK19EC 25 pair to 2x tty port cable. I do have a 4 port cable from an SDI card that came out of an option 11. Will the 4 port cable work, or should I be looking to buy / make a cable?

I seem to recall that I used the very old Option 11 / 11e TTY 1 and TTY 2 cables that I had spare in the drawer.

Wish I had them. All I have access to right now is the 3 port Option 11 octopus and the 4 poet SDI card cable.

The chances are that the 4 port cable will work. I don't see any harm in trying it.

cant you use the 3 port cable connected to access through the MGC?? or am I just making that up???

Guess you could make one if you have an old 25 pair open ended cable for MDF cabling etc.

Well, thanks for everyone's replies. Turns out it didn't matter....the dongle was missing from the CS CPPM card.
