cppm, mgc dongle

hi all
we about to install a new pabx rls 5,in wich i face a problem with MGC to register to CPPM.
I noticed this attention in the NTP : You must ensure that all dongles (for both MGC and CP PM cards) are correctly
identified. WHAT DOESE HE MEAN BY DONGLE TO THE mgc ??
while WE RECIEVED JUST ONE DONGLE INSTALLED IN cppm ?

I do not ahve a dongle in the MGC, only the CP-PM card. Not sure what that is refering to.

You may have an old version of the NTP's. THE MGC does not require a dongle.

The dongle you recieved should be installed on the Call Server.

you are right the MGC does have a space for the dongle & it mentions it in the NTP but it isnt used & you dont need one. I was at nortel last week & got the usual answer of "for future expansion" (in other words we dont know either)

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
