i've used the cpio to take a filesystem backup :
"find /rep -xdev -print | cpio -ovC256 > /dev/rmt0"
how can i verify the content of the media?
i try with "cpio -ivt < /dev/rmt0"
but this error message appear :
"cpio: 0511-037 Cannot read from the specified input.
Enter the device or file name when ready to continue."

Thanks

You've used C256 in your save. Try that in your read command, ie -itvC256.
