I realise this is a known problem, but am curious if anyone has come up with a workaround.
We have a number of SX200ICP deployed in remote rural areas with POTS service furnished by "Lum-N'Abner's" Telephone Company. Unfortunately these little mom'n'pop telcos haven't a clue when you tell them you want CPC (momentary open) from them when the caller hangs up. The problem is when calls hit the auto attendant they never clear down and wind up tying up one or more (or eventually all) of the precious few outside lines in these locations.
In the city it's not a problem because the RBOCs understand (and furnish) CPC. So what are y'all doing for this problem out in the sticks?
