Can someone help me out? I'm trying to install, on Linux, and I'm getting the following:

cpan[17]> install Linux::Cpuinfo
Running install for module 'Linux::Cpuinfo'
Running make for J/JS/JSTOWE/Linux-Cpuinfo-1.7.tar.gz
Your urllist is empty! The urllist can be edited. E.g. with 'o conf urllist
push ftp://myurl/'

Could not fetch authors/id/J/JS/JSTOWE/Linux-Cpuinfo-1.7.tar.gz
Giving up on '/root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/J/JS/JSTOWE/Linux-Cpuinfo-1.7.tar.gz'

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

are you behind a proxy?

I think I've seen a similar problem before when CPAN wasn't loaded properly (it got cut off part way of the process). The only way our host could fix it, was to do a full re-install :(

Thanks all.

First, yes, I am behind a proxy. Second, this was working fine yesterday, but today I've gotten these issues. Could something have corrupted the CPAN installer between then and now?

youradds, you're talking about a full install of CPAN...correct?
