CP201I & Modem

Must be a voicemail day, I need to replace a bad external modem for remote access. Do I need to reboot the CP or is it just plug the new one in and test? I've put them in on install but just replaced one.

Yes you can change it and the operating system should detect it as a plug and play device. If not you need to delete the old modem in hardware and search for new devices to detect it. Then it should answer after a few rings.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!
