I am trying to install desktop messaging at a business that uses Windows 2003 server. When the client attempt to load the software to their computers using their logins, I get "corrupted installation detected" and can't get any father.

When they log in as administrator, they can load it but it doesn't populate it to their mail client (outlook), only the server's mail client. The IT admin gave everyone admin rights with the same results.

Any ideas?

Install Desktop Msgr as administrator.

Log out.

Log in as user.

Click Start, Programs, Nortel, Add Desktop Messenger to Default Mail Profile.

Start Outlook, desktop msgr should start at that time.

Done.

That nailed it. It was simple once the steps were outlined. Thanks!
