CP100 Recording DialTone

I have recently installed a Norstar CICS with CP100. I am now configuring vm and I have 2 problems:
1. When an outside caller leaves a voicemail msg and hangs up, that incoming line still stays active for 45 secs or more after the caller hangs up. When retreiving the VM the msg plays and then of course the dialtone recording is heard after the msg.
2. I have 4 incoming line but only 2 is recognised on the phone sets.

disconnect supervision on trunks...you need to program trunks onto phones...read docs or call vendor

Thanks. These are new lines in a new construction and I just learnt that DS is optional on Sprint (Embarq) lines which can be activated at a charge!

you need disconnect or your lines will contiue to hang. It is worth the 4 or 5 $ a month that they will charge.
