I hope someone can offer some advice here!!
I have a CP100 that seems to have crashed, thought it might be the power supply since the LED's were dimly lit. I got a new Power supply and now the LED's are brighter but still no communication either through the LAN port or the serial connection.
Once the CP100 goes through it's startup, it has a green LED flashing for Port 1. Likely flashing once per second, at least.
My guess is the original Power Supply was not provideing enough power and now there is an issue with either the Software or the hardware or both.
When connected to the CICS, pressing F983 gives me a "feature inactive" message, obviously the CICS is not recognizing the CP100.
I do have a spare CP100 that I can use for testing. I was thinking of changing S/W cards to see if that made any difference. However, I don't want to corrupt my good CP100. Is there any risk of that???
Also, is there a way to reset the CP100 without connecting to the device......I can't see a reset button anywhere??
Thanks
