Anyone ever see a poser supply delivering both AC AND DC power?
Call pilot has quit but still has lights. I couldn't remember what they took (AC?DC) when I checked the voltage, it had 8VDC AND 17VAC.
Guessing and hoping that is the issue?

All devices are DC except the KSU's, Modules, and older NAM's.

In the case of Callpilot 1xx it was originally 9v DC power supplies, then replaced shortly after with 8v DC powers supplies.

Since you switched your dial it AC on a DC circuit you will get an inaccurate reading because it's DC, same goes for setting meter at DC and stabbing a 120v receptacle.

All power supplies should say right on it what they take in and give out.
