CP Platform Migraation

Hi does call pilot 201i dongle works with CP 600r, i mean i have rls 5 201i CP server, now i got a new 600r CP server for LAB can i use 201i keycode and dongle with 600r, system ID will be remain same, i mean i will hook this 600r with the same PBX to which 201i server is working.Further in 600r i see 10 MPU`s but 201i have 20 MPU`s, does MPU`s are hardware and when i use keycode/dongle of 201i with 600r then MPU`s automatically increase in 600r?

201i keycode will not work on the 600r. As far as the dongle look at the keycode sheet for the 600r and see if the serial number listed matches what is on the 201i dongle.

On the 600r there are acutally 96 MPU's in the system hardware wise. You will only see what you are licensed for.

Hi Pal, if i am using both original keycode and dongle of 201i on 600r then does it work?

no because the platform type for the keycode is 201i
