laptop via serial using hyperterminal or procomm etc.
Going back to default wont help much, while your there you might as well change it to what your need or just record what the ZIP is if going direct with laptop.
You can boot the CP and what hyperterminal to see the IP then it may say press any key within 2 seconds to change parameters where you can then change the IP.
