CP 5.0 Error Maximum application limit reach in App. Builder

When attempting to create a new Application in App Builder, I get the following message:

"The application could not be created because the maximum application limit has been reached for this server."

There are less than 90 applications on this server.

I am not aware of any limitation to the number of apps in CP.

Any ideas?

Forget getting vendor help on this one. It is a registry problem on the OS. Make a back up to tape and blow the system away. Rebuild the drive and restore the backup. I looked four hours with regedit and I comparied the two systems but still didnt find the problem. I hope you have better luck and support than I did on this one!
