Is their a command on the 2000 ips with the cp-24 cpu that you can set a default ring tone for all phones. We have upgraded 53 switches and our customers are not happy with the ring tones changing after upgrade. Any help would be appreciated

I believe you will find the ring tone is generated in the handset and so it cannot be controlled by a command in the CPU. You can allow volumes to be changed and remembered in the CPU so it is always possible someone will prove me wrong. Hopefully they will for your sake!

Ring type is defined per phone at the set. Feature 3

The Pitch and lenght of ring is defined in CM 1583, 1584, and 1593. This is class C.
