CP 202i

I recently installed a 202i Call Pilot with image preloaded. Everything went fine until I installed the backup data which corrupted the system. So I decided to re image with the disc. I tried to use 2 different external DVD drives. The first one had no external power and gave me a power overflow error and shutdown the USB port down. The second one had external power and gave me the same error. So I went to Mike's cookbook and made a Install USB and followed instructions. Got to the System Configuration Utility and went to Boot Device Prioritization but no Flash drive option. Believe it or not it has Floppy, Hard Drive and CD/DVD but no flash drive. Now I am stuck on what to try next.

My guess is you are loading the wrong image. Do you actually have key codes for a 201i and was your backup from a 201i?

to KCFLHRC Brand new install of 202i. Have the right software and keycodes just no way to get it to the hard drive. Thanks for your suggestion.

tried a bios update v30 is on the ESPL might give you the boot from USB option
