have a cp150 using reporting for call center

have to change the server for this service
is their a simple way to backup and restore the database or copy a directory

the old and new software will be the same just different machine and customer is adamant about keeping the 4 years of previous data

i have seen the mysqldump in the manual ,just wondering if there is a better way

thanks

Well the only thing I can think of is to go into the folder under Programs/YourSoftware and look for the a db folder of sorts that may have a zillion files dating back every day for last 4 years.

Depending on your version of RCC, you'll either have a MySQL in the root (C:\) or a MySQL under "Program Files".
Expand the MySQL until you see a "Data" folder and expand that. Within this folder you'll see a "CCRDB" folder. This is the RCC database.
Go into Services and stop MySQL. You can now copy the folder and paste wherever you need.
After fully installing the applications (App Server first) on your new server PC, import the CCRDB folder to the new PC and place it in the same location where you found it on the old PC. (be sure to stop the MySQL service prior to replacing the file).
After replacing th CCRDB, start MySQL and restart RCC launcher.
