Recently a customer with a CP 150 started complaining that callers were intermittently unable to leave messages in an extension's mailbox. The unanswered call would route to the user's mailbox, play their greeting, but when attempting to leave a message the caller would hear the please speak louder message from the CP before hearing exiting the system.....any direction greatly appreciated.

In order
Reboot
Make sure General Mailbox 100 is not full of messages
Upgrade to 3.1 software.
Do a Reinstall
Replace software cartridge
Replace CP

this almost is always a symptom of to many messages saved in somebody's mailbox using up all the memory,check all active voice mail boxes on system and clear out old messages.
