CP 100 reboots

I have a CP 100 on a MICS 4.1. Only when I try to change message waiting on the general mailbox (100) will the entire call pilot lock up and reboot. Every time. I can change other mailboxes. I've rebooted the system and replaced the power supply.

Should I wipe out and reprogram?

That would be the next step but have you changed it via another method such as through the GUI or Telset?.

i've only used the telset to make changes, haven't tried with the PC.

otherwise, the system works fine.

Either way sounds glitched but using the GUI might be a temp workaround.

R2 software on the CallPilot was buggy, so if this is what you are dealing with I'd suggest upgrading the software if a REINSTALL doesn't remedy the problem.
