covering extns

Do you think they will bring back covering extension option in the user field in future version 3.0? As I have customers who do not use appearance keys, as for this to work in v3.0 you need appearance or line keys

Ther e is a coverage option in 3.0, when set if you ring extn a after set time (set in the manager under the telephony tab of the user) the other extn will ring.

If you want this option to be like a coverage tab on the early 2.1 just lower the timer to 2 secs and they both ring at the same time!!

The problem is that the covering phone needs to have programmable buttons, so you can use analog extension to provide the covering.
