coverage without vmbox

I just noticed, PACS with Pmessaging r1.0 that you cannot transfer out of the auto-attendant to an extension (it is assigned to #310) without having a mailbox assigned to that extension. Is there a way around this? All calls go to the Auto-attendant for this customer first, and then they would like to be able to access any extension regardless if it has a voicemail box. any help is appreciated.

Make the extension transfer only instead of assignning a mailbox to it. (choice 2 instead of choice 1)
