I have a customer with secondary and group coverage on 2 stations in particular that I am having problems with.

I just added the voicemail boxes and group coverage for them. (ext 573 & 576)

Ext 573 has 3 secondary coverage receivers (571, 572& 576).

The group cover delay is set to 3 rings.

The secondary cover delay is set to 2 rings.

The problem is that when they receive a call, it takes 7 rings before it goes to voicemail.

I checked the doc's. It says that only primary coverage delay should interfere with group coverage delay.

Did I read it wrong? have I missed something (apparently so)?

The system is a Magix R2.0 v9.0

ALL of the coverage paths need to be exhausted before it will cover to voice mail. You may be able to tweak the primary/secondary/group coverage setting for that extension to bring it down to a more reasonable number of rings while still being able to answer at the covering stations.
