I need to cover for a user on a remote SCN site.

I've set a call appearance on my 9641 as <label> - user - "<user>" and can see when there is a call but is there anyway to see the caller ID?

R11.0.4 at both ends.

If you create a bridged appearance then you should see the caller ID
You might need 2 buttons so that you can see a second call as well should there be 2 simultaneous calls.

You can also use coverage appearance and simply have them ring on that button, that should also show you the caller ID of the caller.

Thanks Westi. I am sure I tried this but could only see local users on the drop down list.

I’ll look again.

Coverage doesn't work across an SCN from my experience. I had to create a hunt group and forward the user I needed to cover to that group to emulate a coverage button.

Thanks budbyrd and hunt groups seems to be answer.

On the 9641 I can see the caller ID and the name of the remote hung group.

I can also add an overflow time to give the remote site a chance to answer.
