Can anyone suggest why this doesn't ring or flash ?

Magix 4.0 Hybred with Merlin Messaging 4.0 (DID Flex-path PRI)all MLX stations.

Incoming calls ring at the Operator console ext.4910 before going to AA#1 If the Operator is gone there are 3 MLX stations that have cover-D buttons of 4910 and this setup seems to work fine.

BUT, if the call happens to get to AA#1 and the caller hits "0" to return to 4910 the 3 extensions with the cover 4910 don't ring or flash ?

Thank you in advance,

Mike

0-out by default (in Messaging admin) is set to transfer to the operator of the system (768- not the actual operator which in your case is 4910). If you change the 0-out under AA1's selector code menu to x4910 instead of the operator that will fix 0-out's from the AA1.

This doesn't change 0-out's of people's mailboxes though. To do that, go into system admin menu for messaging and choose option 1 (instead of option 3 for auto attendants). There you will get an option to change the call answer operator (I believe it is option 3). Change that to 4910 as well and then anytime someone presses 0 it will transfer to 4910 and all cover buttons will ring.

Telcomboy,

I will try that today, that sounds like the answer I was looking for.

Thank you !

Telcomboy !!

I went in using IP and found "call answer operator" defaulted as 768, changed it to 4910.

Worked like a charm !! A star is the least I could offer, thanks.
