I am looking for some assistance with Merlin Magix 4 v7.0.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Problem description:
Extension 237 receives calls intended to go to the attendant (ext 233 name: RICKLIE). When the call rings on ext 237, it displays "COVER FROM RICKLIE". I want to prevent those calls from ringing on ext 237.

Done so far:
Using WinSPM I tried to find either the cover path or the calling group were this set up could be, but I was unable to identify were to fix it.

Again, I appreciate any help you can give me with this.

This is part of the system config:

A EXTENSION INFORMATION

Extention 237 has a cover button on it for ext 233. You need to remove it. In Win SPM: press system program, start, more, centralized programming, program extention, press the leftmost bottom button - and keep pressing buttons (going up and over) - until you see on the display Primary Cover 233, then choose delete, and exit out of programming.

You did a GREAT JOB of posting the Info those of us on the forum needed to shoot this trouble.

And everything TOMD said is the truth.

Thank you to both. I will try it and report back.

This worked perfectly. Thank you again for your help.

Does anyone know how Xmit and Rcv pairs pinout on the RJ45 connector of the DS1 board? I'm trying to migrate a copper point to point PRI between a legend R7 and a magix R4 to fiber, using the RAD fiber modems. I tried to connect a straight-thru Cat 5e cable from the Legend/Magix to the RJ 45 jack on the respective RAD. I also tried to cross over the xmit and rcv pairs on both ends, but I still can't make calls over the point to point. I spoke to RAD's tech support and they wanted to know how the DS1 pinned out. They feel the RAD's appearing to be OK. I'm not sure if there is any other programming I need to do to make this work. I appreciate any input I can get on this.

Sorry mardotek, I meant to start a new thread, didn't mean to jump on your thread.
