We have a cover button for extension 10 on extension 14's phone. If we select the cover button and lift the handset, can we forward extension 10 to another extension?

No - you would need to program a cover button for extention 10 on the other phone. You could make that cover button delayed ring - if it covers the operator only if the Operator and ext 14 did not pick-up - or set it up the same as on ext 14.

We only want it to ring when the operator isn't there. So right now we have them turn the ringing on and off for the cover button. It's a lot of steps but it works.

I'm just trying to find an easier way for them to activate/deactivate covering for the extension.

There is no physical station 10.
