Hi, in my job they want me to take some AIX courses, but since we've got an old RS6000 with AIX 5.1, they want me to practice by my own the Implementation course (Q1314) and take directly the the Problem Determination coruse (Q1316).
The problem is I don't have the Q1314 course guide, I only know that the course outline is:
- Introduction (overview of pSeries)
- System management tools - System Management Interface
- Tool (SMIT) and the Web-based System Manager
- Software installation and management
- System startup and shutdown devices
- Printers and queues
- Managing queues
- System storage overview
- Working with the Logical Volume Manager
- Working with file systems
- Managing file systems
- Paging space
- Backup and restore
- Security
- User administration
- Scheduling
- Networking overview
What are the points you consider I should focus on, and what practices should I do?
Is there any page, redbook or tutorial that can help me?
Thanks to all.
