Good morning fellow Crystal Reporters...
I've been tasked to come up with a training course for Crystal Reports XI. I found one post on this site where someone else asked the same question, but the URLs in the post no longer work.
Here is a very high-level course outline that I've come up with.
1.) Connect to a database - DSNs, Excel.
2.) Simple record selection
3.) Formatting - text boxes, number formatting, etc.
4.) Summaries
5.) Multi-table reports
6.) Grouping
7.) Formulas
8.) Parameters
9.) Sub-reports
10.) SQL commands
11.) Stored procedures.
The class will be composed of my colleagues that, for the most part, are reasonably familiar with SQL. I figure 3 work days for this training which will include "lecture," lab work, and Q/A.
What does the community think? With budget restrictions, hiring a training company is not an option. Any resources that I should take a look at? Am I forgetting anything?
Regards,
JL
