We upgraded from proxy 1.0 to proxy 2.0 about 5 months ago and I'm starting to figure out some of the interesting aspects of the proxy itself.
Unfortunately due to time restrictions and being in a working environment I haven't been able to play much.
Firstly, how would I have a scheduled report fire off once per month listing username and their bandwidth useage. I am suspecting several users of inapropriate web useage. Would crystal reports be the best solution for this or is there something automatic?
Secondly, is it normal to have approximately a 3-5 second wait from a client machine before popping up their homepage (google.com). All clients are using the proxy client.
information on server
SBS 2000 with exchange, ISA, Proxy, and Firewall installed.
dual xeon 2 gigs ram lots of hard drive space.
-----------
and they wonder why they call it Great Pains!
