why not try to get your team to all go out for lunch once a week. Where I work we have a 1 hour lunch break, but on fridays several of us go out to some local resturant for lunch and usually end up taking an hour and a half or so.

Also, organizing company events. We usually have a pool tournement and a bowling tournement every year

Small personalized gifts work quite well. Don't have to be anything expensive but giving employees a little something that has both the company name/logo and their name printed on it shows that they are a valued part of the company. One good example is to give out day planners around christmas.

I dunno about daytimers, as that sounds too much like work.
:)

A consulting company I used to work for would give out movie tickets if you were billable for the entire month. That was a nice benefit.

The other developers in the company I'm at now, all went out to Wal-Mart and bought some "Micro Monkey Bikes". These are tiny bicycles that are about 18" (45cm) tall. You look totally ridiculous on one (which is part of the fun). At lunch they had a race around the building with a toilet-paper finish line tape, and some side betting going on!

Most printing shops in my area can produce personalized day planner (calanders) for about $10 a piece. All I would have to do is give a list of employee names and the company logo and go back the next day to pick them up
