hello, how can i count only the record that meets the condition in crystal report?, for example, count only the prices > $200. pls someone help me.

thanks.

Create a formula :

If {prices} > 200 then 1 else 0

Please this in the detail, right click, insert, summary, SUM

replace the item in bold with your field.

Hope this helps....

In Crystal 8.5, you could also use a Running Total, using Reebo99's formula as the evaluation formula.

Running Totals are more flexible and convenient that summary totals. Their drawback is that you only know their value at the end of a group or report, whereas summary totals are based on the data and can be included in a report header or group header.
