Counting Records on a report

I am trying to figure out how to count records on a report.We have customers with numerous policies and i would like to count the customers and also count the policies and display this count on a report.

The customer field has duplicates and i would like to count just the unique records.

To count the unique customers, add a text box to your customer header:
Name: txtCountCust
Control Source: =1
Running Sum: Over All
In the report footer, add two text boxes:
Control Source: =txtCountCust
and
Control Source: =Count(*)
