Hello
I would like to have in my report footer a count(*) of the total number of records in a multi-page report. How do I do this in the footer of a report? If I use count(*) it doesn't know what to count and if I drag the text box to the detail section, then that works but I get the count(*) value constantly repeated.
Also, in a given report how can I preface each record printed with a line number for instance?
thanks
Dan

Placing a text box in a REPORT FOOTER with a control source of:
=Count(*)
will count the total number of records in a report. It will not work in a PAGE FOOTER.
To number the records in your detail section:
-add a text box
-set the control source to =1
-set the running sum to Over All

Thanks...got the COUNT(*) to work..
And how would I individually number each line in my report as well?
