I've developed a database that includes a field containing work order numbers. Frequently, the same number is repeated numerous times. I need to come up with a way to count all the numbers without counting the same numbers more than once. Thanks for your help. [sig][/sig]

hi CSchlick,

maybe, base the groupby query on a select query, in the select use select Distinctrow this will preselect only distinct records, you may also be able to add the distinctrow modifier to the groupby clause (depends it might through out your groupby query)
