I have some mailboxes that I need to get a count for how many emails come into it each day. Does anyone have an idea how I could accomplish this in Lotus Notes?

Thank You,
Steve

I've only done this once, so I'm a bit rusty.
Assuming you have R5's Domino Administrator, go to the tab called MESSAGING, then the sub-tab MAIL. In the left column choose REPORTS--REPORT RESULTS--BY USER. On the toolbar with graphics that appears, choose NEW REPORT.
On the pop-up window that appears, first choose a title for the report. Next under the BASICS tabchoose the Report Type: "Message Volume Summary". Set the Time Range to your choice. Set Run This Report to "Once". Set the Report Should Be to whatever you wish (I used "Mail" and had it mail to me.) Under the CONDITIONS tab, I set RECIPIENT'S NAME to the name on the account from which I wished a tally.
I also left it as "Contains" though you may wish to do differently. Lastly, I left DELIVERY STATUS as "IS...DELIVERED", checkmarked both it and RECIPIENT'S NAME, then OK'ed it. The report took a few minutes to run and stopped my services while it ran, but I recieved an email showing the count of all mail received on that person's mail file.

I can get to where you describe but I get the following message when running the report. "Unable to run report, check the Domino MessageTrack Store."
Any help would be appriciated.
Thank You,
Steve
