I am attempting to determine the amount of time a person has spent in each facility that he/she has been assighned to. The report is grouped by the person's ID Number. In the details I have listed the tables: Facility, Cell, Event Date, Next Facility, Next Cell & the Disposition Date. Eventually what I have to do is give a breakdown for a specific year of the avg. amount of time spent in each of our five facilities. Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

Create the following formula:
-----------------------------------------------
DateDiff('d', {Event Date}, {Disposition Date}
-----------------------------------------------

Then, Group By Facility and create an average of the formula above.

Alternatively, insert a CrossTab where Facility is rows, Average of the formula above is the data, and, optionally, as rows you can select YEAR or any other "dimension."

Cheers,
- Ido
