I am running Excel 2010 and have a sheet with a list of names, dates, and active columns. I am trying to make a formula that will tell me how long people have been active (i.e. 6mths, 8mts, 12mths, etc)

What I need the criteria to do is determine if people are active (column I) and how long it has been since they are active (column F).

Is it possible to have the formula count from this date (today) to that date (active)?

Thank you for your help.

Juan

Yes, this is entirely possible.

A good starting point would be to read:

faq68-4037
and
faq68-5827

Also, just stating that you have "a list of names, dates" is scant information for giving a cogent reply. How about posting some specific information like an example?
