counting data occurrences

I have a column full of numeric strings; some are unique and some are duplicates. I'd like to write a VBA code that would count the number of times each string appears in the column. Any suggestions/help much appreciated

Hi,

If you were to sort by this column and then use Subtotals Wizard (menu item Data/Subtotals...), selecting the count option, you could get the answer real fast.
