thanks in advance, I am at best a basic Excel user but what I have now an Excel spreadsheet with each tab in the spreadsheet is a week in the calendar year, within that tab is column A is the time of day then column B is agent 1 column C is agent 2 and so on up to 15 agents and that is for Monday then column Q would be time of day again and then agents 1 to 15 for Tuesday and so on for the week.
what I would like to have is a running count of the shifts each agent has, if agent 1 has a shift their name is in the column if not it is left blank. This way as of today one could see how many shifts each agent has had.
Hope I have explained myself well enough.

Hi,

What a horrendously designed workbook! Is this something that you inherited? Who maintains this mess?
