can i remotely tell how many cabinets i currently physically have? and the option 11 can expand to five, right? so if each cabinet has ten slots and each digital line card has 16 ports i can add 160 TNs per cabinet? thank you.

If you are running Release 24 or up you can create an inventory list in LD 117.
INV GENERATE CARDS

After it is finished you can print the list
INV PRT CARDS

You will see in what slot the card is stuck, so if there's displayed:
XCT-TDS/MF, 30, <Unavailable>
CONF, 31, <Unavailable>

It means that there's a Conf / TDS card in slot 30/31 (Option 81C). The unavailable stands for the partnumber and serial number, which it might not retrieve

Remember that cabinet one usually has the trunking in it. If that is true then you cannot put 160 digital/analog phone ports in that cabinet. You have 10 slots per cabinet yes and 16 ports per card. Just remember that other cards such as voice mail, ITG, Miran, etc takes up a card slot (or 2) also. You can stat the fiber in LD 135 to see how many cabinets are on the switch. I think it is STAT FIBR X with X being fiber 1 2 3 or 4. It show show in service if you have a cabinet on it. Also the LD117 inventory will tell you what cards are in the switch.
