Hi,

I need some help writing a formular in Excel 2000.

I have a worksheet call "July" and need to count 2 columns from it on a worksheet called anlyse.

for example. Column G needs to count all cells called "JP"
after counting that cell I then need to count all the cells from column G "JP" that have the category "A" in column M.

I have tried this without success,
=COUNT(IF(July!G$12:G$184,"JP"),IF(July!M$12:M$184,"A"))

Could someone pls point me in the right direction pls

thx

{=SUM(IF((G12:G184="JP")*(M12:M184="A"),1,0))}

Do not enter the curly braces manually: type the formula and then hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
