counter control

Access help talks of a Counter control in its help files (see under Page Break ). But where is this mysterious Counter control? It's not to be found in the help files by typing in 'Counter', and does not appear to be available as a control in the toolbox, or under 'More controls'.
The thot plickens ....

Basically, I'm just trying to insert a page break after three records have been displayed in a report. "Simple as that" hmmmm.

The counter control is a control you create in your detail section, it's control source is set to =1, set it's running sum property to "Yes",

Create a page break and set it's visible property to no, on the format event of detail section enter, if [counter]>3 then pagebreak visible=true
