Hi,

Just wondering, does anyone know of a "countdown" script, that will let a user specify a date (and time), and then have it show the countdown to the time, in their status bar?

For example ; I enter:

4th May 2008, 3:10pm

..and it would show in the status bar, a countdown (based on the time now in the UK, it would show 2 days, 1:00.

TIA - I've been trying to find something like this for *ages* :'(

Cheers

Andy

A quick search on Google for "timer countdown script" gives many relevant links, the top ones giving immediate code snippets and demos showing just what you're after.

I guess you just didn't try the right keywords!

Hope this helps,
Dan

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. My skills at JS are pretty rubbish - any chance (I know, I'm probably taking the mickey now :/) of showing me how it could be done? (I'm ok at editing scripts, just not writing them :()

TIA!

Andy
