Hello,

Some users in my office get a countdown message when trying to connect to some of our clients through Citrix. I don't know what the error could be, I have tried deleting the Terminal Services license registry key in the registry editor, but for some people, it seems like only a temporary fix, as the reg key gets recreated when they try and connect again to a client, and over time gets corrupted. Has anyone seen this 30 second countdown message, and if so, have you been able to fix it?

Thanks,

How do you have these publish applications configured? Do you publish them out individually or via a desktop? Are they using roaming profiles and have home directories mapped to a remote drive?

I have had issues with publish applications that are configured to launch in their home directories not work due to the fact that the user did not have a home directory or did not have proper rights to the home directory.

These are not published apps. We actually just use the Citrix client to connect to these servers, where the user gets their own desktop with an icon for our program. We have our icon located on the server that they are connecting to.

Any suggestions? Eddie Martin

I had the same problem and it was a TS licensing problem.
I change the licensing server from one of my citrix servers to the main DC (Win2k network) but the Citrix servers didn’t get the new licensing server and I had to set a key in the Citrix registry for the new server.
