Hi
I can't achive this, so please help me with VBA
(I tried with some Do While rng.Row > intRow but not working)

Column A Column B Column C
Employe typeA John 2
Mary
Employe typeB Steve 1

thanks

Hi,

Why do you not have a proper table: with EmployeeType in each row?

If your did, it would be a piece of cake WITHOUT VBA code, using spreadsheet functions.

This looks like some sort of report, which is not a good source for performing data analysis and reporting.

First, you need to have UNIQUE HEADINGS in row 1.

I would propogate the missing values in a new column using a spreadsheet formula, lets assume in D2...
[tt]
D2: =if(A1=A2,D1,A2)
[/tt]
Then generate the aggregation using the PivotTable wizard. It's a 5 minute task.
