is it possible to say count the number of unnique recourds on a continous form's footer.

for example i want to count the number of people based on [PersID] which is a field on the form.

I know I can do =count([persID]) but is there a way that it will only count [PersID] only once if it is there more than once?

regards,

use a dcount instead. The count function only counts the record in the underlying query, with a dcount you can count anything from any table or query.
