Count the bits for VPN..

Hi,

Using a SIERRA Aircard 750 I can connect a laptop to the internet at 56Kbs. Then I want to complete a VPN connection from the laptop to a Remote Access Server to act as a pathway for a laptop based Terminal Services client.

In transmitting 10 application bytes to the server and getting 100 application bytes back, what would be the number of bytes in the VPN envelope? I'm trying to get an idea of the data overhead involved in using VPN.
