Count records

I have a report in Access whose ControlSource is set to =Count(Title)

When opening the report #ERROR is displayed. What am I doing wrong? The report RecordSource is set to table Books, and there is a field in the table called titles(Text field). I just want to get the count of records in the table displayed on the report. Please help

You need to just use Count(*), or use the Count(*) with some criteria (~Where([Title] <> &quot;&quot?
