Can someone pls helps on below?
How can I get the grndtotal for sum of cube with the time 8.00 from every monday.

The Cubes are sum of cube!

With the data you provided

To get the Monday and 8:00 AM data

In your record selection, you could use

{table.cube_day = "monday" and
{table.cube_time} = 8

or if the date is a datetime field, then you could use

dayofweek({table.datetime}) = 2 and
hour({table.datetime}) = 8

Insert a grandtotal and just sum {table.sum_of_cube}

I'm trying to get the grntot like

all mondays with 8
all monday with 9
all mondays with 10 etc.

and the same for tuesday like

all tuesdays with 8
all tuesdays with 9
all tuesdays with 9 etc.

and for wednesday, thursday, friday excatly the same.

and aslo be informed that the cube data which I have provided as above is also a sum of cube,so I want to get the grndtot of these sum of cubes per day and time.

Do you have the option of grouping? First group on {table.cubeday} and then on {table.time}. Then create three formulas:

//{@reset} to be placed in the time group header;
whileprintingrecords;
numbervar sumcube := 0;

//{@accum} to be placed in the detail section:
whileprintingrecords;
numbervar sumcube := sumcube + {@sumofcube};
//where {@sumofcube} is your existing cube summary formula

//{@display} to be placed in the time group footer:
whilerpintingrecords;
numbervar sumcube;

You could then drag the group names for day and time into the time group footer next to {@display} and then suppress the details section.

Lbass your solutions have helped me many times and perhaps I am oversimplifying here but couldn't Dadas simply create a running total by specifying the following:

Summary / Field to summarize: Sum of cube

Evaluate / Use formula: Cube Day = "Mondy" AND Time = "8:00" (Oversimplified the time here intentionally)

Reset / Never

And then place this running total in the report footer?

I thought Dadas was saying that "sum of cube" was already a summary, in which case it would not have been available for a running total using the expert. If "sum of cube" is a database field, then running totals would work or inserting summaries (sums) on conditional formulas of the form:


//{@Monday8}:
if {table.cube_day} = "monday" and
{table.cube_time} = 8 then {table.sumofcube}
