Hi,

I'm sure its been done a thousand times and I'm just asking the search box the wrong question!

But I'm trying to chart the number of open tickets by day.

So if a ticket was opened on the 1st January and Closed on the 10th January I'd want to count that ticket in the chart as being open on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of the month. I'd want to run this for a whole year, most of the solutions I have found so far look like they would work for one month, but not any more, unless I've misunderstood them.

Any ideas greatfully received!

I've using Crystal Reports 2008 and reporting from a SQL Server Database.

Cheers

Marc

What is the ultimate goal of the report? To show the actual dates and the number of tickets that were open? Or something else?
