Count of execution of program

Is it programatically possible to extract info regarding count of different program execution throughout a day, and/or over a range of days?

Any window API to support?

I had placed this query in Desktop softwares forum but could not get answer.

You can just write into a simple text file: Date and Time (Now), user name, and whatever else you want to keep track of. Have this file on the server and you are set.

Are you wanting to track the usage of a program that you wrote, or that of a 3rd party application?

Just a heads up...using Now() is a last resort if you can't get it off a server or the web. Otherwise your stats are dependent on the user's computers settings.
